Yeti loves the feeling of freshly clipped nails. It's important to keep them short, as long nails can lead to health complications and expensive vet trips. Bunnies with long back nails can also get sore hocks as they are forced backwards onto their heels.
I always struggle clipping his nails as he does not tolerate being held for long periods of time. It is much easier with a second person, and I am thankful as he has clear nails that means the quick can be seen. I have clipped his nails myself before, but it can be difficult and stressful. Rather than stressing him out on a trip to the vets,
Pendle Paws came to our house and cut them for me. They have a great service and offer excellent advice. As well as grooming, they also do pet sitting and dog walking.
Here he is throwing some shapes around the living room after his nail trim. Thanks
Pendle Paws!
